This is my first visit. I will be back. When I arrived Sandy treated me like I was family. The place is very clean too. So glad I came here. Sandies personal touch was like frosting on a cake. The room was perfect too
Super clean hotel, recently renovated! Everyone in the staff makes this hotel stand out from the others. Keep up the good work. Highly recommended if you are looking for something around the area.
I'm in town for work and have stayed here many times over the years. They work to improve consistently and do a good job for this tier hotel. When back in town, I will stay again. When I stay at other IHG Expresses, I will compare them to this one.
I was working nights and reserved my room which was for a double bed. When I got off and went to check in the night front desk person gave my room away. But I didn't know this until my party and I went up to the room and found only one bed. All the front desk person could do is make up excuses about how she called me but didn't leave a voicemail. Then said she emailed me which she did but the email said Thank you for choosing Holiday Inn Express at Modesto. Nothing about my room was about to be given away. So I suggested to give me two single room for the day and I will move into a double the next day because I was staying all week however they wouldn't do this even though she was the one that messed up. Thank god the morning staff showed up and found a solution.
Nice rooms but be sure you don't get next to the elevator. Unfortunately, heard elevator noise all night. Pool was great for the kids. Nice breakfast with a automatic pancake maker, also a hit with the kids. Appreciated two washers and dryers....why don't hotel help to keep these cleaner???? A little cleaning would go a long way. Would stay there, again and recommend.
