They are a horrible place to have your loved one taken. Unfortunately, my mom was living in that County in hospice and the caregivers called them. In speaking to them, I SPELLED my mom's name actually 3 times to who I assume to be the son. 3 Times. Then when Mike, the owner, emailed me documents to sign, I corrected it then, as well, and returned the docs with the information. He obviously got the documents, but no response. I was told by the younger man my mom's ashes would be ready the following Tuesday, as she passed away 2 days before Thanksgiving. When I called, Mike answered. When I told him what was said, he said, "No one ever promised you anything!" and proceeded to keep cutting me off. I wasn't able to get her until Friday, and still, the death certificates weren't there. To add insult to injury, they never corrected her name and it is now THAT which is public record. They are a joke, which is pathetic since you want your loved one and the family to be treated with respect.
If you have no choice, then you have to use this place, but man, the chapel looks to seat about 30 (semi) comfortably, the place is just depressing and miserable looking. We used Salas brothers, they were incredible. To be fair, this place serves its purpose, but again, if you can spare the extra money, you wouldn't want to honor anybody here.. Sorry Eaton staff, the gentleman who created me was very nice, this review is strictly for the facility itself and the nightmare of a parking lot that took me 5 passes to find (fenced in, in the rear, blink you will miss it)
They were very helpful and sensitive. They guided us through the whole process very effectively.
let me just say that Eaton Family Funeral Home made us feel peaceful and welcome during a painful time. I felt very comfortable leaving my dad in their capable hands. and I'm grateful of their kindness with helping us deal with my dads last orders of business.
They were pleasant to deal with (under these circumstances, nothing is easy). Communicated with us well, let us know when things were ready and didn't make us feel worse. I appreciate their service but hope to not have to use them again for a long time.
