We called the office and the "manager" says "no more excuses" whatever that means. We got back to the dealership & were told we could leave the vehicle or getting it repaired in our home state & they would reimburse us.
After taking a look at a few different vehicles a decision was made on one he really liked, there were a few things that needed some work and they offered to fix it or give us a credit for it. We chose to have it fixed, drove back the following weekend to pick-up the vehicle.
After filling out all the paper work needed, we were ready to hit the road!
14 miles into the drive the check-engine light comes on.
They insisted on registering it, in the state of California, even though our home state was Nevada.
The experience working with Lupita's Auto Sales was a complete nightmare.
Then came the nightmare of having the vehicle registered.
Arrived at our destination, safe & sound.
My parents bought a car from here a few years ago and experienced great customer service so when I was in the market for a car this was our first stops. I have to say I was not disappointed.
Eventually called a different person who, tells me she knew nothing of our situation & states he would take care of it.
We live out of state but the drive isn't too far and my father-in-law really liked a vehicle they had at their Modesto location, so we drove to attempt to purchase it.
Finally 4 weeks later, after getting passed on to multiple people we received the document we needed to register the vehicle.
I legally CANNOT have a vehicle registered in California if I reside in Nevada.
Perhaps its that we purchased out of state, but this isn't a place I'd ever recommend.
We were told this was being taken care of & we would have a response in no time.
We decided to take the chance, it drove fine.
